How Vein Removal Works
The NdYAG laser procedure relies on the principle of selective photothermolysis. A specific wavelength of light is emitted and absorbed by the haemoglobin within the targeted blood vessel. This light energy is converted into heat, causing the vessel walls to collapse and seal (coagulation).
Following the treatment, the body’s lymphatic system naturally identifies the treated tissue as waste, gradually breaking it down and absorbing it. Over the course of several weeks, the visibility of the vein typically fades, leaving the skin surface clearer and more uniform in tone.

Sun Protection: Apply a broad-spectrum SPF 50 daily to the treated area to prevent post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation.
Heat Avoidance: Avoid hot baths, saunas, and steam rooms for at least 48 hours.
Gentle Cleansing: Use tepid water and avoid aggressive scrubbing or exfoliation for 5 days.
Activity: Refrain from high-impact exercise for 24–48 hours to prevent premature vasodilation.
