What Is Body Ballancer® at Eden Skin & Laser Clinic?
At Eden Skin & Laser Clinic, we provide the Body Ballancer® as a premier compression therapy treatment to help fluid retention that utilises the proven principles of manual lymphatic drainage. The Body Ballancer advanced compression therapy system has been shown to accelerate recovery after surgery or injury, enhance detoxification, reduce cellulite, and even support immune and metabolic health.
Often referred to as "the ultimate detox," this non-invasive procedure involves wearing a specialised suit—the Ballancer® pants or jacket—which uses a patent-protected inflating system to apply a gentle yet effective sequence of massage. It is the perfect treatment for those looking to improve their health from the inside out while achieving visible aesthetic results.
What the Body Ballancer® Can Treat
A course of Body Ballancer® massages will reduce the appearance of cellulite, slimming, firming, toning and smoothing the skin and reducing volume in the abdomen, upper arms, buttocks and legs, which are often affected by fluid retention. It is also highly effective for:
Bloating and heavy, tired legs
Post-exercise recovery and muscle soreness
Immune system support and detoxification
Pre- and post-surgical recovery (to reduce swelling)
Improving digestion and metabolic rate
How the Body Ballancer® Works
The treatment at Eden Skin & Laser Clinic works by simulating a deep manual massage that targets the lymphatic system—the body's "waste disposal" unit. The suit consists of 24 individual air chambers that inflate in a specific sequence to move lymph fluid toward the lymph nodes.
Body Ballancer® also boosts circulation, bringing healthy oxygenated blood to the treated areas that, combined with the massage action, helps to effectively break down the build-up and appearance of cellulite. By accelerating the removal of toxins and excess fluid, the treatment leaves the body feeling lighter, energised, and more contoured.
-
Yes. The Body Ballancer® is a safe, relaxing, and non-invasive treatment. It is suitable for most adults; however, we will perform a full consultation at Eden Skin & Laser Clinic to ensure it is appropriate for you. It is particularly popular for those who suffer from poor circulation or sedentary lifestyles.
-
Not at all. Most clients find the rhythmic inflation and deflation of the suit incredibly soothing and relaxing. The pressure can be adjusted to your comfort level, ranging from a light, gentle touch to a firmer, deeper tissue massage sensation.
-
You will feel the benefits immediately. Most clients notice an instant reduction in bloating and a sensation of "lightness" in their limbs straight after their first session. For lasting aesthetic changes—such as cellulite reduction and body toning—we recommend a course of 6 to 12 sessions.
-
There is no downtime whatsoever. You can return to your daily activities immediately after your session. In fact, many of our clients find they have an increase in energy and improved sleep patterns following the treatment.
-
Hydration: Drink plenty of water following your session to help your body flush out the toxins released during the massage.
Keep Moving: A light walk after your treatment can help maintain the stimulated lymphatic flow.
Healthy Habits: Maintain a balanced diet to support the detoxification process.
Avoid Alcohol: We recommend avoiding alcohol for 24 hours post-treatment to allow your liver to process the released toxins efficiently.
Practitioner & Safety Note
All treatments at Eden Skin & Laser Clinic are subject to a thorough face-to-face consultation. This allows our clinical team to assess your medical history, perform a patch test, and discuss the potential risks and realistic expectations of the procedure.
